Falling In Luck

  • Ashley Poston meets Emily Henry in this speculative rom-com set in a world where everyone is born with a finite amount of luck to spend and Neve, a hopeless romantic whose luck has literally run out, must choose between a charmed life with the luckiest man in Manhattan—or take a chance on an unlucky love that could cost her everything.

  • In a world where luck is a finite currency, Neve is officially bankrupt. After blowing her lifetime supply on a "perfect" teenage windfall, she’s now pushing thirty and paying the steep price. Her once-charmed life is crumbling—she’s single, facing eviction, and barely holding onto her job at a top PR firm. Desperate to maintain the façade of success, Neve hides her disastrous string of misfortunes and slapstick failures, determined to fix her fate through sheer, stubborn grit rather than admitting she’s overdrawn and face the stigma that comes with publicly being a luckless Streak.

When grit isn't enough, Neve discovers a group of shadowy elites fixing the odds and sets out on a chaotic quest through New York to rig the game herself. But her mission is complicated by a swoon-worthy dilemma: she’s torn between Manhattan’s luckiest bachelor, who offers immediate salvation, and a magnetic "Mr. Wrong," whose presence seems to guarantee catastrophe. Caught between an easy fix and a messy reality, Neve must decide if she’s chasing a manufactured fairytale or if the best things in life are the risks you take without a safety net.
